About E9 / EPS
The E-9 Visa is closely associated with South Korea’s Employment Permit System, commonly known as EPS. The system provides an official pathway through which eligible foreign workers from participating countries may obtain employment in permitted industries in South Korea.
For Nepali applicants, the process generally involves following official EPS announcements and completing the required stages established by the responsible government authorities. These stages may include language testing, skills-related procedures, documentation, roster registration, employer selection, training and other official requirements.
Passing an examination or completing one stage of the EPS process does not by itself guarantee employment, visa approval or departure to South Korea. Applicants must continue to satisfy the requirements applicable at each stage of the official process.
